Welcome back to the site! In celebration of nearly fifteen years of bringing live latin music to the people all over the Midwest, Son Venezuela is happy to launch our brand new home on the web! Be sure to check out all the new features, including a newly organized photo section, an online press kit and enhanced band member bios, not to mention the band's summer show schedule.
Son Venezuela will be out debuting new material this summer, as well as bringing some classics back into the band's book. This year may be the best yet, and the band hopes to see everyone out on the town!
Thanks again to all of the fans and friends that voted Son Venezuela as Kansas City's "Best Latin Act" in the 2007 Pitch Weekly Music Awards. The band takes the distinction to heart, and will continue to strive to be one of the best latin bands in the region. From salsa to merengue, cumbia to tamborera, Son Venezuela is committed to bringing latin music and culture to the dance floor. And, as always, gracias a los bailadores!
